A 16 year-old girl was fired from her home at Ivell Marketing & Logistics because of a comment she posted on her Facebook page. Many employers are now watching Facebook to see what employees are saying and how they are spending their time.
The teen worked at the company for only three weeks and was canned after saying on the social network that her job was boring and stating "It’s s***. All I do is shred, holepunch and scan paper."
Swann said that her statements were only throw away comments and that the company was being petty and was being nosey. Her boss said that other staff had access to her comments.
