LG KM900 Arena get spec'd

Only two days after the new LG KM900 Arena full touch phone leaked and I can finally bring you the detailed specifications of the device. There still remain a couple of uncertainties but we've got pretty much all covered.

The metal-framed LG KM900 Arena seems to be one of the best-equipped devices in its class. The main feature of the LG Arena is of course its 3" 262K color touchscreen display. It sports the really impressive WVGA resolution (800 x 480 pixels), which until now was only available on high-end WinMo handsets.

The LG Arena sports tri-band GSM and 3G support (most probably with HSDPA), Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity, as well as Bluetooth and USB.

The LG KM900 Arena dimensions are 105.9 x 55.3 x 11.95mm, which makes it about the same as the LG KC910 Renoir but slimmer. It is also 10g lighter than the Renoir at 105 grams.

Running on a new user interface dubbed as S-class, the LG Arena will be powered by a 1000 mAh battery that is said to last for 300 hours of standby or 3 hours and 50 minutes of talk time.

According to the source the handset will also feature Mobile TV but there is no clear evidence yet if it will have a DVB-H receiver or it will use the 3G streaming variety instead.

The final noteworthy feature of LG KM900 Arena is the 5 megapixel built-in camera, which is said to record DVD-quality videos, which is probably just another way of calling the controversial D1 videos (720x480@30fps) that the LG KC550 and LG Prada 2 are able to record.

Right now there is no information about the availability or the expected pricing of the LG KM900 Arena but we guess the official announcement at the MWC 2009 in less than ten day will clear things out.
