Rihanna has postponed her sold-out concert in Malaysia after reports of a fight with boyfriend Chris Brown.
Brown, 19, was arrested for felony battery after an incident with an as yet unidentified woman in a vehicle in Los Angeles in the early hours of Sunday morning.
But while there has been no official confirmation of the alleged victim, the Los Angeles Times reports it was Rihanna who told authorities Brown had struck her.
She was reportedly discharged from LA Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was escorted out of a back exit.
And now the singer's representatives have informed Malaysia's Pineapple Concerts that the 13 February show will have to be rescheduled.
Bosses at the Umbrella hitmaker's music label have also called off celebrations for her 21st birthday on 20 February, due to be held in New York City, according to E! Online.
Pineapple Concerts managing director Razman Razali says in a statement: "In light of recent events involving Rihanna, (William Morris Agency) will confirm within two weeks from now on a replacement date to be mutually agreed (upon by the organiser and the singer's team). We sincerely regret this unavoidable shift in schedule and apologise to the fans for any inconvenience caused."
Malaysia's Islamic party had previously called for the performance to be banned, claiming Rihanna's sexy stage outfits would be an insult to local values - despite the star's promise in January to tone down her live show.
