Little India is the focal point of all Indians in Singapore, being their historical landmark, developed by their forefathers that settled in Singapore back in 1819. Famed for its strong scents of spices sold by roadside stalls, its silverware, brassware, wood carvings and silk saris adorned by ladies are a prized item of tourists.
