I found this tip in the net... might be useful for you guys on how to fix hot pixel inside your camera...
There is a procedure that has worked for other Canon cameras. have used it on two bodies and it cleared the pixel in both.
1. Remove the lens and replace with the lens cap.
2. Put the camera in sensor cleaning mode for maybe a minute or two. Keep the lens cap on.
3. Turn it off, replace the lens and check to see if the pixel is cleared.
4. It not, try repeating the procedure one or two more times.
I'm not sure why this works, but it many times does. General POTN lore says that there is some software that maps out the pixel but I'm guessing that by putting it into cleaning mode the voltage is cut to the sensor to minimize static during the cleaning process. This somehow lets all the pixels drain completly and sometimes get s stuck on transistor to get unstuck.
