Eric of Photography Bay have posted a more in-depth comparison of the Canon EOS 5D MarkII & Nikon D700. Quotes from his review, "I think these past couple of tests prove the point - both Nikon and Canon have produced stellar DSLRs at prices that we would have considered unthinkable five years ago. I also think that Canon could have produced an almost-perfect (in light of current technology) DSLR had the 5D Mark II been 12-15 megapixels."
