The most exquisite wedding spectacle in Brunei - Bliss Wedding Showcase (BWS) 2012, officially opened to members of the public in a vibrant ceremony held at the Indera Pura Lounge at The Empire Hotel and Country Club yesterday.
Present to officiate the event as guest of honour was the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources, Hjh Normah Suria Hayati binti Pehin Jawatan Dalam Seri Maharaja Dato Seri Utama (Dr) Hj Awg Mohd Jamil Al-Sufri.
The ceremony began with opening remarks from Managing Director of RN Wedding and founder of BWS 2012, Suhairy bin Musa.
He was delighted that the two-day event received overwhelming response with participations of 36 booths from 30 exhibitors in the event showcasing Brunei's latest and hottest wedding services and products.
"Exhibitors from neighbouring countries such as Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia are also participating in the showcase to promote their products and services, which is up to the international standard," he added.
According to Suhairy, the theme 'Glamour and Elegance' for BWS 2012 illustrates the importance of marriage for brides-to-be, which will be an everlasting memory in their lives.
Shortly after the opening ceremony, the guest of honour proceeded to Indera Kayangan Ballroom to view the BWS 2012 exhibition.
Among the products and services that will be on offer during the events includes wedding photography and videography, wedding apparel, gowns, suites and wedding services, decorations and festive items, wedding favours, general gift items and corporate gifts, beauty products and bridal make-up, wedding cakes, wedding caterers and floral design.
One of the local exhibitors Laily's Bridal which has been in business for over 20 years are currently promoting their "all-inone package" which include wedding dais, dresses and accessories which are catered for Malay weddings at a reasonable price.
Couples can simply 'Print and Show' the wedding vouchers on Laily's Bridal Vacebook fanpage and show it to their staff at BWS 2012 booth number 33, where couples are entitled to $150 off all wedding packages offered.
