Harry Potter Cosplay Photo Shoot
A collaboration with the Nutty Project.

the boy who lived... Harry Potter...

the muggle-born... Hermione Granger...

Hermione have always been the brightest student among the three... here she tried to show them how to perform the "wingardium leviosa"... while Harry & Ron can only look in awe...

the three buddies checking on the marauder map... unknowingly to them that Cho is trying see what they are up to...

just before the Yule Ball, Harry gathered his courage to ask Cho to be his partner... but we all know what happened after that...

a romantic moment between Hermione & Ron? but they look kinda awkward don't you think? =p

There are more photos available at the Nutty Project fanpage which you can view by clicking HERE & HERE...
The photo shoot was actually being done on a short notice cause we wanted to make one before one of the cosplayer (Jes a.k.a Harry Potter) went of to UK to further her study (good luck yaaa), hence the kinda lack of wardrobe... but not to worry, we will be making another one next year, hopefully with a more complete wardrobe & an even more characters in it... cheers... ^^v

J.K. Rowling Unveils Pottermore Website

J.K. Rowling finally unveiled her Pottermore website.
She explains it as " a free website that builds an exciting online experience around the reading of the Harry Potter books."
In other words, it's an interactive site in which users can play games within the Harry Potter books. It kicks off in October, but beginning July 31, users will be able to find out more details about entering the site early.
She hopes the site will encourage more young fans to read her book. "I wanted to pull it back to the reading, to the literary and story experience...I've had a lot to do with virtually every aspect of it," she told reporters at the London launch of Pottermore.com.
Rowling also announced Thursday that the seven Harry Potter novels will be available as eBooks beginning in October.
But she dashed rumors that she's working on an eight sequel.
“I do have closure with Harry," Rowling said. "I have no plans to write another novel. I'm pretty sure I'm done on the novel front...But it was fun while it lasted."
The eBooks will be available exclusively on Pottermore.com.
"It is my view you can't hold back progress," she said of the decision to put them online. "Ebooks are here and here to stay. Later than a lot of people, I for the first time downloaded ebooks and it's miraculous for travel and for children in particular. I feel great about taking Harry into this new medium."
Her Harry Potter books have sold more than 400 million copies worldwide.
The final film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, hits theaters on July 15.

Radcliffe channels Twilight for The Simpsons

Daniel Radcliffe has traded Harry Potter for Twilight by appearing as a vampire in a new Halloween episode of The Simpsons.
The actor makes a cameo appearance in an upcoming broadcast of the hit cartoon comedy in a plot which pokes fun at the bloodsucker movie series.
In the spooky episode - part of The Simpsons' annual Halloween 'Treehouse of Horror' shows - Radcliffe plays a mysterious youngster called Edmund, a reference to Robert Pattinson's Edward in Twilight.
Edmund falls in love with Lisa but his vampire ways are said to be foiled when he takes a bite out of Simpsons patriarch Homer and becomes ill from the large amounts of cholesterol in his blood.
The episode is set to air in the US in the coming weeks as part of the Halloween holiday at the end of the month.

Harry Potter Stuntman Seriously Injured

UK's The Daily Mirror reports that Daniel Radcliffe's stunt double suffered a serious injury in a set explosion yesterday for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I.
The 25-year-old was rehearsing a flying sequence using a harness when he was sent plummeting by the blast, which was part of the stunt. He was conscious after smashing to the ground but told horrified colleagues: "I can't feel my legs."
"He told crew members who went to help him he couldn’t feel anything from the waist down. Everyone is just hoping he makes a good recovery. It has come as a terrible shock," said a source.
Paramedics were called to Leavesden Studios and the stuntman was taken to hospital amid fears he may have been paralysed.
A spokesman for the studio said: "We can confirm a member of the Harry Potter production was injured in an accident. We are awaiting further news. Out of respect for the family we are unable to comment further."

Test Shoots Start for Deathly Hallows

"Harry Potter" franchise star Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) posted the following message on her official website on Monday, January 19th:
On Monday I go in for test shoots for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (part 1). I am quite excited to be back actually. I don't think I have seen Dan since the summer since he left for NY and Rupert since Autumn. I think I have a couple of costume fittings and a hair appointment to make my hair a bit browner. Not sure whether we have a couple rehearsals as well.
Excited to see if they have cast anyone yet...
Warner Bros. Pictures has scheduled a November 19, 2010 release for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I, followed by a May 2011 release of Part II.
