In view of LANEIGE's visions, we always aim to focus into social welfare of the community via education channel to the youth. LANEIGE Brunei Darussalam is organizing a Broadway Musical Charity competition with the support from Ministry of Education and various generous sponsors, and is currently inviting secondary schools students to participate this charity competition by performing musical plays on stage in November. The main objectives of organizing this charity competition within government and non-government schools is to raise awareness from public to look after particularly youths especially for those are less fortunate. The funds that will be raised from the entrance tickets will be donated to charity organization: Smarter Brunei.
Youth as our future to sustain and manage Brunei Darussalam as a peaceful nation which comes from the wisdom of our beloved monarch leadership as well as its rich natural resources. And this objective is also to follow the titah of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam at the recent National Youth Day 2010 where His Majesty highlighted on the need of youth to have big heart, carries a wide understanding, amongst all ambitious, strong , competitive, creative, innovative and responsive youths.
Amongst the objectives of this charity competition are also to upgrade students knowledge on culture through musical play, expose talented students, encourages team work and motivate creativeness via the participation in the competition.
