Since the world was created, good and bad are two realities that everyone must face whether in the real world or when on stage where the beauty and art of theatre performances take place. This includes cute Japanese cartoon characters like Hello Kitty and Friends who always live in a perfect world, but needless to say, they face situations where they have to deal with "evil".
"The Hello Kitty's Fantastical Adventure" will perform live for the first time in Brunei. The show features these internationally known characters live in a musical magical show that is scheduled to be held at the ICC Plenary Hall on June 19 (4pm and 8pm) and June 20 and 21 (10am; 4pm and 8pm).
Hello Kitty, a white mouthless female kitten, is a popular cartoon character created in 1974 by the Sanrio Company of Japan. In the mid 1980s, Hello Kitty became one of the most prominent and recognisable Japanese characters on earth, found on everything from school stationery, clothing, handbags, towels, shoes, stickers, and many more. Even nowadays, Hello Kitty still has its own big fans around the world.
Not too long from now, Bruneian could experience the real Hello Kitty during the show. Hello Kitty and Friends will go through a challenging adventure. At the beginning, it will show how wonderful life is. Hello Kitty and Friends live in "Happiness Land" which is full of joy, love and peace. However, one day, her Princess Kitty who is known as pretty, lovely, cheerful and adorable princess beloved by her people, is kidnapped by the Bad Badtz Maru, the Lord of Badtz Kingdom.
While she was away from the "Happiness Land", Prince Daniel, the Prince of the "Happiness Land" whose characters are confident, courageous and determined, leads his trusted noble Knights to save the Princess immediately. The Knights are Konitchua and Pom Pom Purin, who has high sense of humour, compassionate but careless. Pom Pom always thinks of himself as a hero but in fact he is not.
Princess Kitty is rescued from the devil place with the help of the Magical Bracelet. The Prince brings his Princess home. On the way back to the "Happiness Land", they run through the musical jungle, a beautiful place full of music and lots of dancing. They meet the chief Tabo-Yo-Yo, the Happiness Land Villager and the chief of Tabo Tabo Tribe. They really had a good time in musical jungle as Tabo-Yo-Yo loves music and dance so much. His passion is to bring the best music and dancing to everyone in the world.
After having gone through a very nice moment, they resume their journey home. However, devils never stop following them. They have to overcome other challenges, as they are trapped in Fire Gorge which fuels the evil power to Bad Badtz Kingdom. Can they defeat Bad Badtz Maru? Can they escape from the Fire Gorge?

The "Hello Kitty Fantastical Adventure" premier show was started on August 17 last year at the Academic Community Hall in Hong Kong and had good reviews from the media. The highly popular shows have had performances in Hongkong, Bangkok, Dubai and now in Brunei Darussalam. "Hello Kitty Fantastical Adventure" is an enjoyable family entertainment that should not be missed.
