SPORTS enthusiasts and fitness addicts can stop by the Brunei Sports Convention and Expo 2012 at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas today to satisfy their fitness and health needs.
The expo, themed 'Sports for Excellence', will be ongoing until November 11, 2012 and will be open from 8.30am to 10pm.
Organised by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS), the expo will see both local and foreign participants, comprising of businesses related to sports products, leisure, health, medicine and sports technology.
The convention, which will run from November 6 to 8, will play host to a series of plenary sessions and interactive workshops discussing a wide range of topics related to the realm of sports.
Organisations such as Darussalam Motorcycle Association (PEMODA) and Negara Brunei Darussalam's Field Tennis Association will be present at the expo, as well as businesses such as Imperial Trade & Co, Royal Brunei Airlines, Premier Automobiles Sdn Bhd (FORD), B-Mobile, Braun On, Kate Mubarakah Spa, Fitri Enterprise and Armtrix Enterprise, to name a few.
Smarter Brunei and Pusat Ehsan will also be setting up booths to raise awareness on their organisations as well as raise funds for their respective centres.
The Brunei Sports Convention and Expo is an effort by the MCYS to provide a platform for discussion, where athletes and sports players in Brunei can share their experience and knowledge, as well as get public feedback on the development and success of sports in Brunei.
