World's first commercially available Jetpack goes on sale

Martin Aircraft, a New Zealand-based company, has just priced the world's first commercially available jet pack. Just $86,000 will get you your own man-portable flying device. This pack gives only 30 minutes of flight time. That may not seem like much, but it's way longer than you're able to fly in a stretch right now.

These packs are filled to the brim with safety systems. There are back-ups for everything, as well as an emergency ballistic parachute. Pitch and roll are handled by controls on one hand, while thrust and yaw are managed by another. The operator must weigh at least 140 lbs and less than 240 lbs.

So you want one? Head over to Martin Aircraft's website to place your order.
