It's been so quiet in the world of photography ever since Photokina ended last 28th September 2008. So the guys at Photography Bay have posted quite a number of review links. Here's a few of the review posted.
Nikon D700 Review by Thom Hogan. Quotes "Excellent Image Quality. It’s not just high ISO that’s good, the dynamic range is the best of the Nikon DSLRs, the acuity is excellent, white balance is better than ever, and, once mastered, the Picture Controls do give you plenty of control."
Nikon D90 Review at Camera Labs. Quotes "The AF speed, accuracy and speed of handling are as good as any DSLR in its class, and the boost in continuous shooting a real benefit to action photographers."
Nikon D90 Review at Luminous Landscape. Quotes "This is clearly a first generation product. Nikon saw an opportunity to add video capability to the DSLR and did so in a simple manner with little intention of creating a new type of hybrid camera. The D90 is a stills camera (and a very good one) at a very reasonable price, that happens to also shoot moderate quality video."
Sony A900 Review at British Journal of Photography. Quotes "Sony’s first full-format camera is designed to meet the needs of ambitious amateurs and semi-professionals. JPEG compression is perfectly balanced, and input dynamic range at high ISO speeds is excellent. Tonal reproduction focuses on instant image appeal (rather than something more neutral, which you see with more pro oriented cameras), and the sharpening is OK."
There are also other camera review being posted there, but since Nikon and Sony have a larger market here, so i just post those two here. You can check at Photography Bay for other camera reviews. PS: Canon review have already been posted before here.
